this is the one I completely copied and pasted from a member on this forum... hope he doesn't mind me stealing his thunder:

with deer season right around the corner i thought this might help save you guys a few dollars. i made a gallon last year and it works as well if not better than the stuff on the shelf.
1 gallon distilled water
1 bottle peroxide 20 - 28oz
2 tsp green soap
1 cup baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla extract  (optional)
put in dark container and let it set for 3 days.
leave lid loose while it is working for the 3 days. (builds pressure)

*Note* The "green soap" refers to the scent-away type liquid soaps that we shower with

People who don't get it, don't get that they don't get it.

I mixed up a batch of this home brew last year. This is the best scent killer I have ever used. I had deer running over me last year. GOOD STUFF !!!!    :newmascot:

X2

I was thinking put it in a spray applicator.  Would like to know how you guys have used it.

VAHUNTER

it was intended to be used as a spray on scent killer. i do not think it will work if it is used to shower with.
but it does work great in the field.

honker22 i do not mind at all.. if it will help others save a few bucks and bag a buck of a lifetime at the same time i'm all for it
Good things come to those who wait

Cove

Thanks guys, that's the one I was looking for! I tried another because I couldn't remember this one . . . . it was a no go. This one here worked well for me last year! :you_rock:

Tail Feathers

To those who have used it, did you use the Vanilla?  If so, would you use it again?

I've used it both ways, with and without vanilla . . both worked for me.

Tail Feathers

Bump to the top for deer season.
Good luck guys.  I used this last year and it works as well or better than the commercial stuff I've bought.
Scent free spray.
(That's for my search next fall.)

I'm cruising through the 4 gallons I started with in September. Good stuff.
