Mesquite call
August 15, 2011, 09:19:20 PM
Sold this beautiful mesquite call and striker at a benifit this last week-end. Call is a slate over glass with both sides playable. Mesquite was cut off my hunting lease in south Texas. Both sides are pure, raspy hen.
Love the color and sound of mesquite. Wood is hard and works great.
Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.

Beautiful wood and you did a great job with it. One of the reasons I want to hunt out there is to grab some of that wood for myself. Plus, killing a Rio wouldnt hurt my feelings any

Those eyes at the bottom give it some nice character. Good job!

I have to agree. The eyes really add character to the call. I have one more piece of mesquite with similiar eyes that I am saving for a special call. Looks almost identical to this one.
Thanks for looking and thanks for the nice comments.
