I'm pretty good about wearing safety glasses and hearing protection when operating machinery, but yesterday I was rebuilding an ATV carb for my in-laws and didn't think about eye protection while spraying the carb with de-greaser to clean it up. Some of the chemical splashed into my eye. I flushed it as recommended and it seems to be fine, but from the immediate burning I felt, it could not be good.
Just wanted to remind you to think about gun cleaners etc... Flying particles are not the only danger to our eyes.
