Help for Traveling Hunters...Sundays?
August 12, 2011, 06:40:05 PM
For you folks starting to plan next spring's schedule, here are the states that don't allow Sunday hunting:
CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NC, PA, RI, SC, VA, and WV
I think that's all. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Definitely Va...no Sundays for now. The topic of this post is helping drive the change..

Thanks! These "no sunday" states really hurt a traveler that tries maximize hunting time while on the road.

In NC you can hunt on Sundays with either bow or crossbow on private land.

Pennsylvania is heading into the second meeting and vote on the topic, and from the reports I am hearing, they are much more close to passing it then ever before! That is great news to all of us who hunt there.
Not so much for my wife though...

I wish that would happen in WV. If the fish can be caught 7 days a week then the game animals should be pursued all 7 days of the week also. Ive always felt as such too.
