I have found a new use for hand-sanitizer. I am seriously allergic to Africian blackwood....cocobolo and Bolivian rosewood. I can pick up the wood and have an allergic reaction. The other day I was moving wood, and I had to move some ABW. I immediately grabbed the hand-sanitizer I keep in the wood loft for emergencies. Then the light came on. I decided to do an experiment. I generously applied hand-sanitizer to all exposed skin on arms, hands and neck; then I turned this trumpet yelper. Normally, I experience an allergic reaction almost immediately. Not this time. Maybe I'll get up enough nerve sometime soon to try this with a blank of cocobolo. This one is on the way to it's new home in New Jersey. Customer wanted a split V style mouthpiece.
