Well things just don't seem to want to go my way as of late, I have only gotten to be out 1 days because of either pain levels, being sick or a combination of both along with rain (Not safe for me to walk in the rain on slanted ground on crutches) and over the weekend the transmission went out on the truck. Nobody that has hunted the land has seen or heard anything anyway, I knew it would not be good, but it was the only place I had to go, at least I got to be out in the woods for one day anyway. I have to try to get somebody to take me to get my blind and stuff, I don't want to leave it in the sun to long. The only thing I got to see was this little critter, I told it if it stood still I would make it famous, it did so here goes.

Sorry to hear that. I can relate because I was kind of in the same boat last year. I hope that next year; you are able to get out more and have a better season.

Thanks, I had really hoped to get some good pictures with the new camera and the good lens but it did not work out. I heard a lot of birds but never actually saw any, they seemed to stay out of the woods which seemed rather odd, I know I heard Blue Jays and Cardinals and would have loved to have photographed them.

I hope so but I have to figure out how to get these knees replaced, I live on the second floor and have a dog so I have no clue how to manage that. If I can get them fixed I can walk better, the pain in the knees are extreme.

Great pics!
Glad you at least got out in the wilds a bit this spring.  Hopefully next spring will bring a tom to your gun.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Thanks bud, I am hoping for Fall as well, the only two Fall seasons I have hunted I saw more than I had in the Spring those years. Leaves will make for some great photos as well.

Thank you, I am trying to learn. After I take Jane's ashes to MI I will start saving for some lenses for my landscape shots. I have a lot to learn.
