pftt.  Leave the entire sign off the picture if secrecy intended. Just showing South Dakota is the dreaded spot burn to many.  Enough clues in that picture that anyone with basic computer skills could figure the spot out fairly easily I'm betting.

If it's private, can we name the state? :TooFunny:  :TooFunny:
My first Kentucky bird.  I hope to go back, I liked it.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Private may be ok. I was once given grief on this forum when I suggested someone look to the Daniel Boone NF. No matter it is a million or so acres, runs the entire length of the eastern part of the state through multiple counties. Still shaking my head over that one.
That is a nice bird btw. Both of them.  Congratulations.

I don't know if it works on pics hosted on another site then posted on a forum but; if location services are not disabled on your phone or a GPS equipped camera the exact GPS coordinates are embedded in the EXIF data of the picture. FWIW

Bottom line is that they're aren't really any super secret public land spots anymore. Some take a little more work to decipher for those inclined to do so but all are doable.  OnX and similar applications changed the whole game.
