I have one but it has never sounded right to me, like something is loose about the wood if that makes any sense. (Bought used) He should have quite the selection on his page right now I would think.

I would contact him and tell him about it. He probably would fix it either free or at a reduced cost. I know most callmakers will do that because they want everyone to be happy. It's worth a shot anyway.

I have always felt kinda odd about that, I am not saying I have not done it but I really do feel quite odd if I am not the first owner. I am sure he would, I have many of his strikers and he has always treated me well, but again, I feel odd about it. I have a box call from a maker that has told me to send it to him because it has a squeak, but he refused to let me pay him for it so I have not sent it to him yet.

I have reached out to him and he has been very responsive. I'm gathering Dymanwood is scarce because of a fire at the factory. He was just on a Mossy Oak podcast and it was fantastic!! Very informative!
