I'll start a new thread for season starting info anybody wants to share or anything else interesting from the field. I know some of you already posted your starting dates in the original Longbeards thread.

Drove up to PA this morning to scout a few farms that i have permission to turkey hunt on. I've been seeing some nice winter flocks.

I was able to get ahold of one today! After looking back at the photos I had my dad take for the scoring measurements, it will be iffy to whether I can use them. Good start either way!

My field report so far is I was too lazy to go listen for birds this morning. I know they've got be firing off with this weather we're having. Won't be too much longer.

Headed to north Florida this weekend! Just saw 3 strutters on a property I have to hunt here in Georgia too. Fingers crossed they stay.
