I use two chokes......• Hastings® Extended Turkey Choke .570"• Wrights® SWARM® Extended Turkey Choke .555"I mostly use Pb; and, I have a horded stash of old, original Remington® Hevi•Shot®. My last gobbler was shot with Pb using this gun at 42yds. The Mossberg® Mdl 500C 20ga will certainly do the job on big gobblers!

I am currently working with a 20 gauge Mossberg 500 to try to find what works best with it. I have a variety of turkey chokes and all of the commercially available shotshells in both lead and tungsten-based shot that I can find. I also have some of the old Remington Hevi-Shot loads and some of the "factory" loaded TSS shells in #7 and #8 shot. I'd hoped to have found the best combination by this time but unfortunately, other matters have taken priority. If possible, I plan to work more on that project in the next 30 days.Included in the chokes I'm trying are 2 prototypes that are showing real promise. I should have 2 more prototypes very soon to try as well. There is a lot of interest in the 20 gauge Mossberg guns right now. Thanks,Clark
