I don't have any of his calls, how are they for those who have them? I was thinking of a ceramic and a I need a new crow call

I have 3 of his calls.  Kingwood green slate over glass, King wood brass over glass and Cocabola Titanium over slate.  No experience with his ceramic.  If the ceramic is anything like his other calls, you will not be disappointed.  Excellent craftsmanship.  Beautiful wood.  Turn around has not been very long in the past.

I'm a proud owner of a couple of his pots and strikers. I have a blue mahoe/titanium that looks and sounds awesome.

Well I ordered and received a couple of calls from John. I'm extremely impressed with his work. Thanks for the recommendations from everyone including callmakerman who PM'd me some striker recommendations. Thanks all!

I like the Mexican Bocote wood pot & Titanium Surface I have from him, sounds very good with nice rollover and is very loud.
