I fish out of a yak in destin. I live in Bama but do a few trips down there each year. My best trout out of it was a little over 6 lbs. and my best red was pushing 10. All that was bay fishing. I did a few trips into the gulf until I had a shark cruise up beside me that was just about as long as my 12' boat. I am now a bay boy only.
Oh yea, nice red!

Stoner that is some of the most amazing pictures I've ever seen. That is scary. Especially the shark.

I have lived across the bay from Destin for over 40 yrs. now and I just can't seem to get the nerves to head to the Gulf of Mexico out of my kayak. I have friends that want me to "tag along" and I would except for the spinners, black tips, tigers and bulls among others. Stoner that's an awsome poon. Congrats!! I think they are getting thicker around here every year. What area did you catch that one?

Awesome poon on the kayak. I have one but only use it for some lite red fishing around Panama City, other than that I use it for duck hunting. I couldn't count the number of birds I have taken with mine over the past 13 years. They are a little bit of money but I would recommend buying a nice one and using it for many years, I love mine....

Stoner that puts you about 10 inches for the bottom of the food chain but on the other hand it keeps you at the top of the chain. Great pics!
