So I need to write info on the inside of a trumpet barrel.  What is used to do this?
Here's what I'm talking about with Mr. Buice's trumpet.

I am not sure what Billy used, I tried different things without much success....they always seemed to wear off. The one thing that worked the best for me was an "acrylic fine-tip permanent paint pen/marker". It was still hard to do using those artist pens, but might do the trick.

Always wanted an idea on this one. Do you think an extra fine tip Sharpie will work? I was considering on using one and let it dry for a day and coat it with nail polish.

Thanks!  I've been looking at these fine tip markers.  I'm not gonna do anything fancy, just want to label them for my use.
