Not the way to start Turkey season!!!

Well guys I was supposed to be going to FL for a little fun hunt and hopefully collect another fine Osceola specimen on 3/3. However due to an incident I will instead be going to see a surgeon that day. I still have high hopes for the season but the surgeon may stab my plans in the heart. 
I managed to break my big toe and 3 metatarsals. The big toe metatarsal is in pretty bad shape as you can see.  Fingers crossed I can salvage some type of turkey season.

Broken metatarsals hurt, especially the first and fifth. I wish you the best, looks like I won't be the only one on crutches this year.

Ouch! Bradley, that had to hurt like mad. I am so sorry for you, my brother. Number one priority is to let that bone heal correctly. Turkey season will still be here after you get better. Don't push it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I went to the Doc today and he plans to let it heal on its own. Go back next week to double check and make sure it's still straight. I got to make sure not to put any weight on it for several weeks.  I've got a nasty cut on my big toe that has to heal also. All that being said I'm feeling better about being able to hunt just at a snails pace.

That sucks sir. Wishing you a speedy recovery. However, if you want, swing over by the GOAT headquarters. We got some flex seal and super glue. Get you fixed up in no time. We would let you borrow our boat, but it seems to be missing.
