Well fellas, i hope a few of yall still look over here.
All season i called up my group of 6 jakes on my place.  I had one other longbeard that they kept whipped and he wouldn't gobble but a few times till the jakes came running to jump on him.
I got pics of 4 of those jakes and it looks like we may have an equilizer next year.  Granted, they will only be 2 yr olds, but i know two have at least 4 beards! Another has a visible double beard. It's weird becasue i have killed around 50 gobblers off this property in the last 17 years, and i have never seen or killed a multui beard.
Here's a couple of the pics of the 2 that have at least 4. One bird has thin slender beards, the other has thicker beards.

Quinn,

Just make sure you let the all do some serious breeding before you start choppin' em down.  Maybe you can just shoot one of them next year and keep the rest on reserve for the next couple years??? ;D

If I can find me another bird or two with a couple beards next season we'll be in great shape.

Now that's some good news!!! Great pics. Those are sure enough "SUPER" jakes.

Yep fellas...You can write this down-  In the contest next year, they will not count multi beards.  It's my luck.

I'd love to let them grow for 3 or 4 years, but lets face it, that aint happening!

Very nice!!!  I need me some of that multi-beard genetics up here.   :)

There must be a multiple bearded gobbler doing the breeding. He's probably a 3-4 year old. Go kill him and then kill one of his offspring. Good luck next spring.

Sweet! Best of luck with them next year.

Now that is cool. It doesn't matter if they count them or not, those boys will be stud birds in the future! Good luck bagging one of them!
Red meat isn't bad for you, fuzzy green meat is bad for you.
