Sand or not before gluing glass and sound board down?

I purchase some calls from a guy and I put them together here at the house. I ordered them finished this time and the lacquer is sprayed on the lip for the glass and the pedestal for the sound board. Do you guys run the glue over the lacquer or sand it down first? I'm using e6000 glue.

I would suggest contacting the person you got the kit from to be honest. I have made a few kits but never one that was finished first. I have seen some people say in the past to sand it and others say not to as it can mess up the way it lays on the soundboard pedestal or lip. Best bet is to contact the maker imo but I am not a pro by any stretch of the imagination.
