Hi folks,

It's been about 7 years since I dropped my last Tom; haven't hunted since. Since my first bird in 1994, I've killed about a dozen or so but I've only hunted sporadically over that time. I have a new friend who belongs to a large tract hunting club in the heart of the Adirondacks and I'm going to mentor him this upcoming spring. Not sure what kind of bird population we'll find but there's varied terrain with ridges, fields, water and deeper woods so that's all good.

I'll poke around the site but I'm wondering how many have hunted that area of the Country.

I look forward to bantering with some fellow yelpers!

Turkeybutt

:welcomeOG: I'm sure you will find somebody to chat with.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, tired, beat, thoroughly used up and totally worn out from chasing turkeys and loudly proclaiming; "WOW -- What a Ride!"

Thanks to all who share this great passion and the wealth of knowledge you bring to this board.
