I have made friends on here over the years that I talk to basically daily, I have guys on here that I'd consider friends that we talk fairly regularly as well. I have traded calls on here to guys that ended up being friends and I wouldn't take 10k$ for the call. Not because of the call but because of the source. They all know who they are.

One of the guys that falls in these categories is a guy y'all know as Zelmo. We have talked in the past and got to talking last week about my son being ate up with turkey hunting. His birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and he asked me for turkey calls, and a new camo shotgun. Al (Z) sent him a call that he made and absolutely made Gunnar's day yesterday!. We can't thank you enough for your generosity. He slept with the call in his bed with him last night. He wouldn't let me put it up!. Z, my friend, thank you.

This forum is responsible for several guys that have become friends to my kids and myself and that's more than worth anything else.
Thank you Shannon for this great network of hunters and friends.

The pics tell the story. I love turkey hunting and this site has let me meet some wonderful people. There isn't much better than the smile on that little guys face to see why it means so much to be a part of the tradition and our community. I got a present too little buddy. I'm still smiling too.  :you_rock: Z

He took his first gobbler in the spring of 24 and took this hen, his second turkey during the fall using his papaw's barn as a blind. He's something else!
