Really planet earth, an earthquake in New England, lol. It was defininately a different experience. Straight out from me under the Isles of Shoals. Pretty intense for us non earthquakers.  Only a 3.8, I cant even imagine a 7 plus. God Bless to the people affected by all natural disasters.  :jesus-cross:  :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an  Z

Went through one last year Z. Cool experience, but wouldn't want to ride out a big one for sure....

Living in Oregon and spending much time in Washington state, I have been through several that were in the 3 to 6 range and it is a very weird sensation. The first was when I felt the earthquake when Mt. St.Hellens blew up 1980.

First one I went through I was on the way to a Stryper concert, never even knew it happened til the next day. First one I ever felt something woke me up and I thought "Well somethig seems off" and then went back to bed. Found out it was an earthquake later that night at a friends house. I have slept through a few of them since.

Though I have been through earth quakes, a Stryper concert I have not been. I have all their vinyl albums though.

I almost got thrown out, standing on the seats, lighter in the air headbanging back when I still had balance and hair to head bang with. Just looked it up, November, 25 1988 Less than a month before my first car accident.

Now, the only time I stand on a chair is to change a lightbulb. When I comb my hair it is on my chin, as there is none on top and the closest thing I get to banging my head is when I'm nodding yes to the boss.

My first metal concert was Metallica in 1983. It was at a college cafeteria in Portales New Mexico. There was about 20 people in the audience. They opened for Raven and I was in the front the whole time and chatted with Kirk Hammett for a while after the concert. I still have the ticket for the show.
