Today's mailbox occupant was a long time in coming.

It is the final call in a group made from a very sentimental piece of wood. (I'll post that whole story in the General forum, coming up.)

But, after a couple years wait, I got the call to send my final walnut blank to Mr. Ralph Permar, which I very promptly did.  Surprisingly quickly, I got the text my trumpet was done !!!!  My check went in the mail.  The call went in the mail........and went the wrong way.  But it got turned around and landed in my mailbox today.

Here's my brand spankin' new Permar 1930 !!!

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

Fine call. They're deadly too!

Ralph did that one right. Very, very nice Don - that's a perfect combo with the amber tip.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot
