ff2 help?

i purchased a ff2 couple yrs. ago and decided to mount it on mossberg ssi-1  with base already on barrell. my problem is it will not snuggly mount to base. i have tried squared and round side of pin with no luck as it is still wobbly on base . also have protector from gentleman on this site that is not working out either. any tips,thoughts, or solutions appreciated.

When I bought my first ff weaver mount the cross bolt was too big. I made the slot in the base larger for it to fit. Holler at burris optics on here, he'll fix you up.

Yeah a pic would help.  I'm not completely sure what we're talking about.  I'm sure we can get you squared away.

Post up pics. Thats the first I've heard of any guard troubles. You have a solid gasket with star washers?
