Attention Florida Turkey Hunters -
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is conducting a random mail hunting survey - The subject of the survey is regarding Fall Turkey Hunting with the use of Turkey Dogs - as of right now we have very limited fall public hunting and turkey dogs are prohibited , if a rule change is made it will expand available hunting opportunities and that means a possible special fall turkey dog season
The FWC has been very receptive as of lately to improving the quality of turkey hunting , safety and expanding hunting opportunities to more turkey hunters , last year we enjoyed the rule change prohibiting buckshot, slugs and rifles for WMA hunting making hunting safer
