I'm glad you asked as the poplar box was personalized after looking. I had 7 of Lonnie's boxes and that had to be the only one personalized. No disrespect intended!

I was up there 2-3 weeks ago and Lonnie has really slowed down due to health issues for him and his wife. Normally, there are 50-75 pots to choose from and 25-30 boxes, this time there was about a dozen total pots and only 4 boxes.

If any of you guys are looking for his stuff, my advice is to buy it when you can, because after talking with him, he is really cutting back on his call making. I think he said that he is 82 years old, so we all know how age effects people.

I went to visit him about a month ago and I left without a call. He did not have many ready to go. He told me his health had really slowed him down.

Very sad to hear that. Had the pleasure of meeting him at UNICOI a few years back. A real workin man's box call we could afford. I still have 2, all walnut and walnut/chestnut.
