Last night i just completely finished modification of my K/H vest. As someone who doesnt use box calls, i found the box call holster to be nothing but an invonvenience... without a box call in the holster, the lid would frequently unlatch, and flap around. I tried toting a turkey tote in it, so that it would reduce 'slack' in the latch, and hopefully stay closed better, but again, it would still come loose. So with the help of my aunt, we removed the box call lid divider, and holster lid, and then closed in both sides. We also installed a zipper from an old beat up primos vest i had laying around. The new pocket is awesome!! I currently have a headlamp and compass in it, with plenty of room to spare! Excited to put it to the test.
