2023 was a fine year for me and the old
Man. He killed a henned up limb hanger the first hour of the season. I killed mine the next day Thursday. Shot with my weatherby element 20 ga. I bought for my two boys when they get ready.

Took a jump to the .410 Steven's and Burris ff3 combo with fed tss/ninja. I'm still 6 weeks out and birds have been fired up for weeks in Indiana. My hatch this year turned out with really well from poult sightings so fingers crossed. I'll be out April 20th for youth season. Should be back in a few weeks for sheds.

Well, fellers.............

First gobble of 2024 came at 6:25 AM.

I heard more turkey talk this morning than I've heard in a LOOOOOOONG time.   Most of it hen talk. 

It was AWESOME !!!!   I wish I coulda been on the same ridge as the birds to absorb it all, up close.
