Kansas Tag Draw

I just don't understand how the heck I got unit 5 when I put in for unit 3 and 6

I received an email Go Outdoors Kansas that my limited draw application was selected for the NR spring turkey drawing.

All 5 in our group got drawn.

They also sent out an email showing what unit you drew. Did anyone not draw?? Surely it wasn't guaranteed right!?

I called Pratt yesterday,they were nice enough to give me a little info on the draw numbers.
They had 9700 tags up for draw and over 11,000 applicants for them,there was not a breakdown of tags per
unit,I'm sure down the line all the info will be posted for them,
I've turkey hunted Kansas 21 springs in a row,hunted Kansas in general for around 34 years,not that it matters ,but its been a tradition for awhile and it comes to an end this Spring with not being drawn.
I have seen turkey hunting there at its finest and at its worst,I understand the need to manage game populations
etc.,just kinda stings not getting a tag this year.
Maybe next Spring,good luck guys that got drawn.
