I received mine last week.  First time playing it...it was definitely different.  Put it down and tried it again the next day and BOOM...sounds fantastic...and the burl on the Desert Ironwood is just stunning.  Mike is super easy to talk to and clearly loves what he does.  He said he's going to be at Unicoi, so you can also try getting 1 there.  Best of luck!
