My new 8 month old GWP pup Lock. Took him duck hunting on a cold morning. Wouldn't want to run into that in the marsh at pre dawn.

Great picture, thanks for sharing. Do you hunt upland with her/ him/ it? Never had the chance to hunt waterfowl with my pointing Lab, even after training water retrieves. Good luck with your new pup, look forward to some pictures with birds!

Lock is a male and I have other dogs too. Another GWP (7 years old) and a Pudelpointer (11 years old). All hunt multiple birds. Doves, ducks, ruffed grouse, woodcock, quail are my main birds to hunt. Hunt a little pheasant & geese too.
