Most folks who come to scam the OG users have very low post counts, and seem to want to sell things very soon after arriving.  Not saying you are a scammer, but the little info we have about you warrants caution, mostly due to your low post count.  If I were looking to buy from you, I would read all your previous posts and maybe browse your other social media like Facebook to make sure you are legit.  Unfortunately, you have to be very careful sending money to folks from the internet that you don't know much about. 
I'm not posting that to offend, but it's a reality of our times.

Many apologies,  the forum has been inundated with a never ending onslaught of individuals that have been doing hit and run sales fraud

And people have been paying them (fooled like a gobbler hearing a turkey call)  , thus we have a garbage bear situation where they come back in force and rip-off more people

The membership is extremely wary of new people selling /buying stuff

Okay , here is what we did and WHY

This (former ),member in his limited postings here , is basically here to sell stuff , and that's all (all his posts about a dozen are...pm sent , pm sent ...something is fishy , but of its not ...oldgobler is NOT EBAY , if all a person wants to do is sell stuff and and that's all , then your just doing a booty call on us all

The classifieds are for active members to sell , buy or trade good equipment...its not a flop house for scammers and users

We have are arms wide open to help callmakers and members sell and buy stuff , but we full well know when somebody is showing up for the freebies and then splitting when the beer is all gone

To be clear, the reason I posted that on here is because the member sent me a dm with contact info that didn't match the name on here, I looked at the profile and every post was involved with a sell, and never buying. Always trying to sell, seemed off to me. Didn't mean to sound like an A-Hole. Just wanted others to look out

Member sent a message to me claiming his stepdad had the item I inquired about, sent me that individuals email and said reach out for more info, so it was fishy to me. Sorry if I was wrong

That is the classic scammer move.  Redirect you to some other email, usually by saying a friend or family member actually has the item for sale.  You did good to avoid that.

Be cautious!

99 percent of the scammers have just a few or no posts

Most are actually off shore individuals

Some are Ripp off artists that are local

Most if not all  will refuse to do PayPal transactions because thise transactions when done right are insured,  here is a important detail ...in the last year PayPal has added fees to "friends and family " to make them similar to the regular fees ...the difference,  if you send a scammer friends and family , kiss your money goodbye ...it's not insured ...it makes no difference...insist on regular PayPal
