How do you guys feel about Elm for the body of a box call. You don't hear about it much. A search here
and on Google didn't reveal much. Seems Billy Buice put some out a while ago. What are your thoughts?

I have a Turpin style box from Billy that has a black locust lid on it. Great sounding call. I've also used Elm when turning a pot call striker and it worked out very well.

I have a hophorn/elm and cumaru/elm fiddlebox from Marlin. Both are good sounding boxes
