just saw this on facebook,, turkey trot callmakers summit has been CANCELLED.....just though you would like to know

That's heartbreaking it truly is. The one and only event that I can be around people like me. I know attendance was way down last year and I really think covid still has people worried about both finances and being around others and I think it's an underlying reason. I'm hoping they bring it back next year, I really don't want to see it disappear otherwise this site will be the only place I can be around people like me. It it's nice to be around others like you in person as well.

If you're primarily interested in meeting many of the top call makers, talking to them and running a call before deciding to buy it, nothing can compare to Unicoi. This year it's on Friday and Saturday January 12th and 13th.

If you go, I promise you'll meet some really nice people and leave with a much lighter wallet.

Both completely out of the reach of the normal person in the upper Northeast, this is why this one was so great, it is not a rich mans event, it is a common mans event. Not saying anything against Unicoi understand, it is just to far away for many people and this was the only one in the upper North that exists for those that can't get to Nashville or FL I would never want to go to the one in Nashville by the way, way to many people.

Changing the date with less than 2 months notice did not help either, I am all for them changing the dates and understand why, it was just not done in the best possible manner.

Pete and Sherrie run a great event and are very friendly people, nothing at all against them, if they change it every year hereafter to a Saturday instead of a Friday I will be there for that as well.
