Going to once again attempt to add pictures to a post. Without pictures this will be worthless and I'll delete.
I do feel for those relegated to only small tracts of public land in other states. Over the years I have taken birds on Florida's romp and stomps (non-quota) and WMAs during quota hunts. On non-quota areas the secret is to hunt midweek later in the season. Those 3 year old birds taken the following season are two year olds now. They will be quiet. In Florida we see so many non-res they are no more than an annoyance to some and are long gone after the first two weeks. I hope the pictures do post. They are not from this year but new enough to be relevant. It is private land that is gated and locked. The camera was 1 1/2 miles from the nearest public road. No real population crisis here. They are all Osceolas.
