Here we go!  Turkey hunting is about as fun as it gets and this is just a big ole bonus. Cheers to all the turkey hunters on Old Gobbler in the off season. Thanks for being here year round.



My 5 year old son loved these turkey nuggets. He kept going on about how good they were. When I said that I killed the turkey we were eating and he realized it was the turkey I killed it was such a cool moment. He knows I love turkey hunting and he's wanting to go but it hadn't kicked in yet that we were eating one of the turkeys I shot. He thought that was so cool.  They also remind me that we need to shoot enough deer so they can have summer sausage.

Yes he's particularly wanting to go turkey hunting. He asked if he could shoot but I told him he'd just be going and watching starting out.  I'm looking forward to it. The youth hunts are my favorite if the season. My other son whose about to turn 10 has killed five or six deer and he likes deer hunting better so far.  Bust out the frying pan and get you some nuggets cooking!

I actually don't like spicy stuff myself. I eat the dry rub chipotle wings at BBW and that's about as spicy as I like to go. I didn't think the batter was that spicy. Just enough to have some good flavor. Give it a try. Also I've only tried it once so next time it may burn my lips off lol.
