Best woods for a 2 piece striker? About to order a few from a couple different folks and need some opinions.

I've been liking and using an Blackwood peg with Hickory top striker as my glass and Slate go to the last couple of years. I've seen the 22 piece with Snakewood and Tulipwood that I would like to try as well.

I like the flare tip strikers, not the mushroom tip ones. I have strikers made from most woods and find myself using only a few. I like snakewood, dymondwood, macassar ebony, tullipwood, monkeywood, dogwood, persimmon, hickory and a carbon tip the most. Probably a couple of more I didn't think of.

I have a Macassar Ebony that plays great on any surface I have tried it.
