How much area is in long island for hunting
More than most people think. The eastern part of the island is still lots of farm land and a very good amount of public land. We have an excellent deer population and many good bucks come from here also. We can pretty much kill a doe a day and a few bucks during the long 10/1-1/31 deer season.

I kicked around the idea of heading out there this spring but decided to stay in PA and NJ, maybe next year. Didn't know it was stacked with deer out there.

Nice one buddy, I shot my first duck in Suffolk Co. in Montauk in the 80's I think, Never forget that feeling, kinda like a dream come true!

 Nice turkey and good job.

Hopefully it's Island resident only hunting.

That's funny I shot my first duck, a black duck, probably 1989 in Nassau county. Excellent duck hunting on the island but bowhunting deer has taken over my life so I never go anymore.
