Optics for my M1 20 guage

I've been reading on here about different optics for turkey hunting. Where would I start if I wanted to put some sort of optics on my M1. Just looking for suggestions

If you're going to use a red dot , use either a receiver mount from Sumtoy, and if you do not want to drill holes for Mount, use a Meadow Creek rib mount. If you have a rib and want just fiber optic , the Williams fire sights are very nice. I had them put a green fiber optic up front and the red in the rear. Hope you find what your looking for.

I know very little except what I've read.  Can a turkey see the red dot on a scope ? Would it be better to just have cross hairs ?
