Under the topic of Trophy Hunting, harleytom post the game laws of Mississippi. I didnt want to hi jack that post but I read something of interest in there game laws. One of the last qualifications for an adult gobbler under number 2. letter D said the 9th and 10th primary wing feather needed to have white barring extending to the tips of the feathers. That was something I didnt realize or know so now will have to look to see if I can tell what they mean. I am thinking there isn't a differentce in Mississippi Eastern's then other states, but I will be trying to see if I can see what there talking about. The double bearded MN Eastern I have mounted in my office I tryed to look at to see what they mean. But not sure because wing tips are all gone from strutting. Will have to study any jakes I see now.
