Very nice - I have one of his walnut/wenge slate pots with yellowheart strikers and his Purpleheart / cherry laminate ceramic ...  I feel his walnut /wenge laminate is one of the best slates ever made ...  See if you can find one of these ...

I thought that was the same one that I have but mine is a different laminate.   I wonder how many different laminate combinations he made in the slate calls?

Those older laminate slates are a great call! Should have never sold mine.

Funny how is older calls were that good. Hunting for a week by lake Kissimmee and these are some we drug along. Slates are on the right the other is a cacklin crystal. Nice addition for sure!!!!
