I have a question about the Holosun 407. It's not going on a turkey gun, but I see more discussion about red dots here than anywhere else, so I figured this would be a good place to ask.
I'm going to put a red/green dot on a Browning automatic rifle to use for deer hunting. I already bought a Holosun 407 with a green dot. I sent it back because the dot had a lot of Starburst and wasn't a nice round dot. I had several people look at the sight to make sure it wasn't just my eyes. I also have a Sig Romeo 5 and the dot is nice and round to my eyes.
The Holosun checked all the boxes of what I wanted, so I was disappointed at what the dot looked like. With the praise I see for these sights, I'm wandering if I just got a bad one. I do know if I moved the dot to the edge of the window, the flair went away. I'll buy another o e if yall aren't having the same problem.
