Officially 1/2 of a single season slam as of yesterday. With tons of rain, wind and some severe weather in the forecast for this opener and some hard hunted ground I wasn't expecting much questioning my sanity at times. Fortunately the Lord blessed my determination and I found myself all alone mid day in a prime area. All alone with a few strutters that were willing.

Thank you Lord, there is no denying this one was for sure a gift from you! Happy Resurrection Day y'all!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
