Burris FF3 Battery Cover Issues?

I almost pulled my hair out trying to get the battery cover on mine. I was about ready to smash it with a hammer. Lol It finally did go on, and it is a wonderful sight other than that.

I actually tried that once...they did not install it for me 

Just an update here. I sent the sight back to Burris for replacement or repair. I just got a message that they are sending me a new one.

I would message them back or call them and tell them to install the battery please before sending the replacement ... You know what i mean... LOL...

LOL the thought crossed my mind. Hopefully it goes well. I can't say I'm not nervous about it!!
