Yeah, I understand believe me I remember. But I was unaware he was a turkey hunter until recently when I saw the picture.

I was only a child when he was a president but know he got a bunch of people killed trying to get reelected. I can't get by that.

I live by Realtree farms.    I went past their gate one morning and there were three blacked out SUV's sitting at the entrance   I thought that was odd.   Found out later that day Jimmy Carter was there turkey hunting.

Can you imagine that clown parade sitting up under a roosted gobbler?  15 guys LOL.  Radio chatter between agents. The gobbler has left the tree. I repeat. The gobbler has left the tree!

Pretty cool to know that he was a former president who could have been doing anything and anywhere he wanted, and he chose to be turkey hunting. That's pretty cool to me.
