Help with Stevens 301 410

I purchased a Stevens 301 for my kids, and I am finding the factory optic unreliable. My issue is that when I tried to put a sight mark holo sight on the factory Stevens rail, the fit was loose.

So my question is, what kind of red dot or holo sight will work on the factory rail- and/or if I need to change out the rail, what bolt pattern/ brands are available.

^^I would agree.  I have the sumtoy mount on mine and it is nice to have the sight down on the barrel.

Just remember "snug is tight and tight is stripped" when installing those rail screws.  Blue loctite is your friend.
