Has anybody tried these?  I'm trying to preserve what little hearing I have left but can't stand wearing muffs while hunting. These seem to be a reasonably priced solution.  Thoughts?

I have a pair and recently used the on several skeet shoots and a dove trip to Argentina. They work as advertised. However, it took several times afield before, I got the right foam tips figured out.

They did hurt my ears when I was using the wrong foam tips. Just spend some time with them and you should be good.

I didnt really use the Bluetooth phone option, but I did confirm that it works.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm not really interested in Bluetooth also, more interested in how well they would work for turkey hunting.  They're running a decent sale now I may just pick up a pair for myself and my grandchildren.

I bought a pair and have been pleased.
I had a pair of Walkers game ear and can compare them to those. The WGE battery was barely holding a charge is why I was replacing them.

I have a pair and they do a good job with the correct ear foam plugs in of dampening noise. They also definitely amplify regular noise if you turn them up. Directional noise and being able to tell where it's coming from is to be determined with mine. I won't use for hunting turkeys but I could see how they could be a good cost effective option. They absolutely amplify noise when turned up and block out gun shots at the same time.

If you don't mind my asking, why don't you use them for turkey hunting?  I figured directional hearing would be an issue. I'm just curious if that's the major drawback for you not using them.

Because I don't need enhanced hearing currently as my ears are good and the amount of shots I take each turkey season are so few that I'm not worried about it impairing my hearing. Plus, like I said, I don't want to use them and have them interfere with the directional hearing. It may not. I just don't feel like ruining a hunt to figure that out lol.

I have pretty crappy hearing after 34 years in the fire department. So I bought a pair on the recommendation of a friend. He loves his, and uses the Bluetooth feature as well.
I really like mine, but as noted from others you have to experiment to get the correct foam tips.
For myself, I use the extreme noise reduction tips, but apparently my ear drums are different sizes. So I use different size tips. When I finally figured it out, I now have hearing enhancement, loud noise (gun shot) hearing protection, along with a comfortable fit.
I don't see myself ever using the Bluetooth feature, but I am very satisfied with the hearing enhancement.
