M1 forearm modification to accept M2 barrel?

Have read where you can modify the forearm of a Benelli M1 12ga to accept the barrel for an M2? Looking for advice??

Also interested in purchasing an M2 forearm so I don't have to do modification. None inn stock anywhere but Freedom Fighter and they are asking $120 for theirs. Hate to spend that much if I don't have to.
