For whatever reason, Delrin hasn't received the respect it deserves. All of my trumpet testing was done with Delrin. Delrin just plain works...and Delrin makes a fine looking trumpet.......

Maybe for a lowly trumpet, but you can put a wingbone in a bucket of water or fall under water in a swamp with one and it will only sound better.

I'm a fan of Delrin. I like the one I just got Greg.

Folks that hunt rosewood trumpets would probably pour Perrier Water thru them,
to uppity for good old branch water

Thanks......I am a wood junky and love the variety of tone/looks it provides, but as a Delrin convert, I now have one in my vest too.

That's me.  Love me some wood but I heard so many good things about Delrin I had to get one.
