Guys, I'm a wreck. I miss turkey season. This helps just a little. . . . 

After my brother and I both got birds on day 1 in the pouring rains (no footage) we helped our good friend with this bird on day 2.

I loved the beginning when you could hear the tweety birds in the background. I can't believe that gobbler didn't spot him when he moved to look back, twice. Nice video Dave.

...But, I'm with TRKYHTR on this one.  Where the heck were you hunting where the gobblers will let you get away with that kind of movement while the birds are standing right in front of you?

The gobbler walked up to about 5 yards and then turned to walk straight away to the decoy. My brother (the one moving) was afraid he was blocking the camera so once he confirmed with the shooter that he was on the bird and could kill him at anytime he made a move to make sure I could get him in the frame. I know this so well, bc that's the first thing I asked! LoL Still not sure how he got away with it... All eyes were on the DsD I suppose.

Great testimonial for the DSD decoy for that gobbler to be so convinced it was a real hen that he didn't spook from all the movement.  I guess he must have figured if the hen was hanging around that there couldn't be anything wrong!

Not to mention we had all just got finished discussing how we were fixing to take a nap (like 6 minutes before I spotted the bird standing 8 yards to the left) and I had no clue if the camera man was asleep, or the shooter for that matter considering we were running on about 3 hrs of sleep.  It was a rough, windy day of hunting, and our setup was one of the most comfortable spots I have ever found in the woods.  Ive hunted them long enough to know how crucial it is not to move, but when given the opportunity I wanted to make sure the film was rolling and I wasnt in the way.  Its a little hard to tell on the camera, but if that gobbler would have continued following the treeline, he would have almost been in reaching distance.  Exciting to say the least.
