The NWTF contest is not, and never has been, about showcasing custom call makers, It' a NWTF cash cow, plan and simple.

I've never been to the Grand Nationals, but I have heard a lot of the stories that you have probably seen and heard, particularly with the yelpers.
I did hear that Matt McClain and Mark Prudhomme were two of the judges this past year. I'm not sure how you can get much better than that. Don't know who the other three were.

To set the record straight. every contest has some total honest, and very quality, judges, but when you also have some that will pick up a very high end trumpet, and try to play a glass pot with it, who ever picked them to judge was a total idiot.
