Tristar pic rail ?

I just bought a Tristar Viper G2 Turkey 20 ga. It's used and in excellent condition. Only problem it is missing the Picatinny rail that is supposed to come with the gun. It's drilled and all set for a rail but apparently the previous owner misplaced it, needed it for another gun, who knows. Didn't think I would have a problem finding one but I've looked and looked online, EGW etc and there's no Tristar rails. Does anyone know if there's another gun that the rail will fit and line up on the Tristar? Thanks

Call tri star give them your serial number and get a replacement..they are great and easy to deal with

what sight will you put on it.   We have one for the burris and a few others.

+ 1... if you are using a red dot.. get the Sumtoy mount.. much cleaner and lower than the pic rail.

Yes, I'm going to put a vortex venom on it. Thought about the Sumtoy, I have one on my Stevens. It's nice. The Tristar has 4 holes, 2 towards the rear a bigger space then 2 towards the front. Wasn't sure if a Sumtoy would line up or not. Thanks you guys for the help, much appreciated.

This gun isn't the turkey gun with the bronze receiver, it's what they call a distributor model, it's full MO Obsession and without the soft touch finish. Otherwise I think it's the same thing. But is the drilling the same?

The make small plugs screws I'm sure call Sumtoy and he prob send ya some with a low pro mount

The Sumtoy mount will use the 2 rear holes... or the 2 forward holes (pretty sure the forward holes are spaced the same distance as the 2 rears)  And yes.. I'm sure William can send you a few filler screws. I have (3) tristar vipers with the pistol grip in all gauges. I replaced all the pic rails with Suntoy protector mounts last year. Good guns.

I believe EGW just came out with their red dot mount for Tristar semi auto shotguns. I believe the part # for the venom is 49277. I'm sure William at sumtoy will have one also. Good luck.     Mike

You should be well pleased with Sumtoy's mounts. I have one on a 20 gauge and a 410 and they are solid.

I got the Sumtoy mount today and it sets on the gun nicely. However there were no screws included so now I'm off to a Lowes to try and find the little screws that I will need. I think for 50.00 the screws would be included.
