Debating on which to buy this off-season. I like the pistol grip which helps narrow the pick down but which guns consistently patterns the best? I'm liking the tri star looks wise but I haven't seen many patterns on them.

You can get any of them to pattern. You just have to find the right shell/choke combination for your particular gun. Start with a choke between .560-.570 and TSS #9. Gets expensive, but no two guns may be the same, even if they are the same make and model. I like the Affinity and chrome lined barrel, but had a little 301 that patterned like crazy as well. Pick what feels best and hit the patterning board.

I'm from Mississippi so my chances of hunting New York are pretty slim. Thank you for that heads up though. Wasn't aware of that

If just a turkey gun.  The 301 is cool little set up.    Now If you going to do other stuff with it also I would look at the other two.

Can you provide proof? What I'm seeing is a semi can't have a collapsible stock or thumbhole stock. All pumps are exempt.

I was checked by a dec officer and he told me no grip below trigger gaurd.

Very good with Hevi-13 #7's...I have not jumped into the TSS yet.  I shoot the IC 562 with great results.
